Notes from your Teacher

We had a great first week! Our class enjoyed learning new centers, making new friends and reviewing concepts from last year!

Remember we have chapel on Wednesday. The offering we collect is going towards an orphanage in South America that houses, feeds, teaches and witnesses to children.

This week the first graders will be listening to a series of short stories while the second graders focus on Ant and the Three Little Figs. We will continue discussing maps and location in Social Studies.

Continue to check your child’s homework folder daily. This week I will begin to mark our homework sticker chart.

Charlie, our class mascot, will go home this weekend with Joshua A.
