Open House is, Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Please come and see your child’s work on display.
Wednesday evening is Ash Wednesday service if you would like to attend.
Review Letters (H, B, R, E, N, M, V) Books read: Read Along “Dr. Seuss ABC,” “Elmer,” “Wet World,” “Five Little Chicks,” “Silly Tilly” and “Whose Chick are You?”
Math: How many lemons does it take to make lemonade? The children will actually work together to make lemonade. We will continue number recognition with their dot books and trace numbers 1-10.
Small motor: The children will trace review letters, create their own paper face and some will continue finishing their vase art and Elmer parade pastel art.
Large motor: Run and play outside, using sand and water tables. Take turns riding the tricycles and big wheel. Indoors, play circle games with musical cds and exercise to Smart Moves music.
God’s Word: “The Good Samaritan,” a great story of what it means to be neighborly, Luke 10:25-37.
Memory verse: “We love because God first loved us.” 1John 4:19
Winter Science: create a science experiment to find out which surfaces melt ice faster, using twigs, metal, rocks, plastic and observe and ask questions.
Spanish: No Spanish due to the Monday Holiday
Music: 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday mornings with Jr. K through 2nd grade.
