Costs
- Testing Fee - A testing fee of $30 is required for all applicants to First Lutheran to cover the cost of assessment (this fee is non-refundable) and is due at the time of application. For students entering grades 2-5, an academic test is given for math, reading, vocabulary, and writing. Students entering Jr. Kindergarten , Kindergarten and First grades are accepted on a probationary basis. All students who have been accepted are on a probationary basis for the first five weeks of their attendance at First Lutheran School. Final acceptance is granted after successful completion of that probationary period. Testing is given to all students who are applying for admission to First Lutheran.
- Registration Fee - A registration fee of $275 is due for each child upon application for enrollment, if the child is enrolled by April First. A registration fee of $300 is collected for students who register after April First but before June First. A registration fee of $350.00 is collected after June First. This fee covers the cost of book rental, consumable workbooks and other consumable materials, sutdent accident insurance for the year and yearbook. This fee is collected upon acceptance to the school, after the testing has been completed.
- Tuition Fees - The tuition rate for the 2009-2010 school year is $4900 per student. Tuition is due the First of the previous month beginning August First and running through May First, for the 10 payments of $490. Four payments plans are offered. (a) Full payment of annual tuition by August First ($100.00 discount per student). (b_ Two equal payments of annual tuition. The first payment due on August First and the second payment due January First ($20.00 discout per payment). (c) Ten equal payments of $490 (August First through May First). (d) Nine equal payments of $500 (September First through May First) for students enrolling after August Fifteenth.
- Hot Lunch Fee - This is determined by the catering service and will be announced at the beginning of the school year. This is an optional program.
- Earthquake Kit Fee - All students are required to have an Earthquake Kit. Our supply company determines the fee for this kit
